No, you don't ~have~ to use maven. (And certainly don't need to compile tapestry even if you do).

Sorry Jesse, i'm really a newbie in Maven. I had checked out the maven site and get Maven installed and working. I checked the getting started section and saw how to start creating a project, but do a really have to maven enable my project just to get the 4.1.1-SNAPSHOT and compile it to get the most recent JAR files? Isn't there a ready to go configuration for this?
