The stack trace looks like it is saying there is a problem with the testStartup method not receiving all the parameters it needs.
I'm afraid I don't know why. Perhaps someone else on the list can help. I do have a suggestion though. When I run into problems with the testing, I usually try to checkout the Tapestry project and look at how the Selenium tests are run internally. Often you can find something similar to what you are trying to do and use it as a model.
