Yes, Its causing exceptions in IE. I don't have the app in front of me, but I'll do my best to explain.
I have an autocomplete search box on the frontend. On the backend I have an onSubmit method. I'm grabbing the string value from the search field on submit performing a simple query for the related object. then populating a sessionState before reloading the page.
