This is not a valid JSP syntax. See the Struts documentation or contact the Struts Users mailing list for the instructions of how to export a property to an attribute: http://struts.apache.org/2.1.6/index.html http://struts.apache.org/mail.html > It's being hard to abandon EL and I wouldn't like to revert to it for this.
