Ok there is a problem :-D Notice that I tried under JBoss Portal 2.7 some time ago, I never tried it on any other platform. But at the end it should display this page as the welcome page: http://svn.eu.apache.org/repos/asf/tiles/framework/branches/TILES_2_2_X/tiles-test-pom/tiles-test/src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/jsp/index.jsp Try to debug the TestPortlet class to see if it gets called and how.
