I am sorry, I overlooked your question. I am using 5.5.12 version of TOMCAT. I read documentation, but I am not sure what restriction for the path you are referring to. Is it "In addition, you MUST define a Context with a context path equal to a zero-length string." or what? Thanks

Which Tomcat 5? The rules for <Context> are different in 5.0.x and 5.5.x versions. Please be specific. > I am not sure why this tag is needed, because the > HelloWorldExample works OK from the servlet-examples that > comes with the TOMCAT 5. Please read the documentation, in particular: http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/config/context.html Note the restrictions on use of the path attribute. - Chuck THIS COMMUNICATION MAY CONTAIN CONFIDENTIAL AND/OR OTHERWISE PROPRIETARY MATERIAL and is thus for use only by the intended recipient.
