Are you obtaining the list of sessions from Tomcat's manager app or some other way? Did you take markt's advice to take a thread dump to see if the background thread is stuck on something? Just post the current stack trace of the background thread (it's called "ContainerBackgroundProcessor" with some other stuff tacked onto the end). What happens if you request explicit expiration of sessions? - -chris -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG/MacGPG2 v2.0.17 (Darwin) Comment: GPGTools - http://gpgtools.org Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlCYGLwACgkQ9CaO5/Lv0PDUdwCfaDtN4Kwi6vXCLHJVJ9w2UOvI mUIAoLyKyCpTuhLPiudpBCE+5c2UMFNu =2/Yv -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@tomcat.apache.org
