Look at the archives: you'll find that almost anytime someone modifies conf/web.xml they are told to go back and undo their changes. Exceptions are when you want to make server-wide modifications to the behavior of things like the jsp and default servlets. It's always better to do these kinds of customizations via WEB-INF/web.xml anyway, but sometimes conf/web.xml is just the path of least resistance. - -chris -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.14 (Darwin) Comment: GPGTools - http://gpgtools.org Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJSAsf2AAoJEBzwKT+lPKRYgOgP/3+rCK+H+huZ67INjDIu7rH8 yUfrHoqdS4IlEbcJFOArH9dwG2wBbiaC0Rz1jOWMZjn6ODBQswHrFB+oDR7LeFr7 eIC6JQp9hkBYesOqv229xrSOvpreKGJhwN8jAsGQkffhuleIBNyS8lMV4jlGwVSm WnaGgCgAK+l6FtSeF1tje7wKPpHKA706uG1jIco1tXtFJfDadGsnDu6sN2NtPonV /fY+L+PRM9Rtb6etPP28r2k5S/MzdZ9wSoaUAmFu1wJICXgeIeqNRwoDFzpf8R3y xfQlt3pKTjPeNw6sLdG3u0OJsNas+qorfldN/hXD1MuYpT+pL7VT/KX6fvkR1exI ++F6A2+0IhS2IkkbfgbXA0+NNBHqfFAu94scsZ78jEbFsz6Iz0lLGI2xkCWiyT2i IjX5bwFpZcUeWJdcbxiPPofRDjwOPmNUsk99p/z3ZPCe9ssHRsn8eJzXeckgrKQS xKHdb6PQaM0o3Bsb2+mwN2xWJtl4niPqT0UAVrlK3h1x8B6nnFmbg69X7PeHMB3n DIC0v8a5lPuJ5PxnyRvmd2YRvBESHogkp/WRniSG7+nu8QmmYfypHvV+Ed6J33/q 5JT6ouZhkUOYesx7ztPMLbjTkUCVFrPCffYPFYIO0HUedY4/X2A89IVT+lfOazN5 BKSyvbVQ+YgA5xzq9DFB =sMzo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@tomcat.apache.org
