Windows allows unprivileged programs (e.g. JVMs) to bind to so-called "privileged" ports (those numbered below 1024). Linux does not allow this, so you can't use 443. It's unclear at this point whether you are actually reporting a problem or just continuing to describe your configuration, but setting up SSL is a well-known operation so I don't think you can add anything to the mass of human knowledge about this subject at this point. If your stuff is working, then congratulations: you're done. - -chris -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.14 (Darwin) Comment: GPGTools - http://gpgtools.org Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJSTwz4AAoJEBzwKT+lPKRYhtEP/Rx+KBRSsEJ6SBvIBtysdT/2 1rQOHTJlrvNjUYB2Ii6uOPrSYdMwRmyBJ6EyUs9hVaJ50lP53H7zutOIWF2EBGZY 54LGD4xmF52CRL8wYsaRDJE0Bo9QuDKaIx6VhYDsRtR1V6yilYLpIUJHedGLS+Qn Rdg0HyRX/qqHNn51QuSZGG8tsdoYJhSvoJGAGRu+d3cm4aillJbnlCTw73UCUzVy uV3S9VISGd1jrf4qH/qSR1+C5beD3cvSzxPgBv4IJqepq3wfAR9xAZGkctG1tjo7 gyTwQHPD6BuQCeasiuZ6vCjAwvRupBT2XZ0S8rmVHGUxTp8fTLYn9tb9UrRJwWfJ wUiH09ro3R0kzo4qQJ+ylbrZVI5693O5n+HwiTKOkI7UTouoOrRZ7SpLVA3zJq5e 1ZD41raEirtgvy4abjaxCLjTIzLTFJM4vA0KoFv3D2q+IqNSv5+ajazBgxDV7hoJ cxoDkBgHyGhcr3J7IjrnwlecW2Wn2440xOAQ3Lijj1qIzAx/22VjAlHVHWEWbO8P u/DNre1omzPXsKylvooiU9xKs/iydz5UdoqH/YwoUSueKMKYBbPQo9i7kKrg3Yqa Ga9QwNcGZdDe8ky0DX9mnJeZGenZG9c8xSBSoTW3pTyy4CHuLuBZVOC3zETxULpd 0QRbR/SgENx5C6FdcXnB =bxzk -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@tomcat.apache.org
