Nothing that jumped out at me either.

Maybe a corrupt ecj.jar file?

Multiple ecj.jar files on the class path?

Does the RequiresStatement exist in the JAR?

Something in the JSP? Is it always the same JSP that has the issue? If
so, can you reduce it down to a minimal JSP that recreates it?

Some sort of conflict with the JVM you are using?
