The Apache Tomcat Team would like to clarify that the announcement of
end-of-service (EOS or EOL) for Tomcat Native (tcnative) 1.3.x released
on 2026-02-11 applies to *all* 1.x branches.
EOS/EOL for tcnative 1.1.x was announced as 2018-09-30 on 2017-09-21 [1].
There was no specific announcement for 1.2.x but the last release was
1.2.39 on 2023-10-03 at which point only releases for 1.3.x were made
thereafter. No further releases in the 1.2.x branch are expected before
the EOS/EOL of tcnative 1.3.x of 2027-03-31.
EOS/EOL for tcnative 1.3.x was announced as 2027-03-31 on 2026-02-11 [2].
All currently-supported Tomcat versions require at least tcnative 1.3.4.
Tomcat Native 1.3.x releases will continue as usual until 2027-03-31.
