Thanks Sebastian. I plan on doing all of those things once I get out of the
hospital. Unfortunately there has been not been happening very quickly so I
know I started a little home lab before I went into the hospital and hadn't
gotten as far as other than installing. So I haven't done any actual work yet.
But but yeah I noticed that the stuff that I was us me in has now become old
and I was kept in an old position I guess and I didn't take the you know I
didn't take the the time to learn the new stuff.

Thanks again and I really appreciate the the feedback that you provided. Have a
great week

Managing tomcat instances on ancient IBM mainframe systems is rarely a
thing anymore. My advice to you is:

- Learn what Docker is, how to use it, how to build containers
- Learn what Kubernetes is, how to use it, how to deploy docker
containers with Kubernetes (don't fall for those 'learn Kubernetes in
10days' scams)
- Learn how to use AI tools (efficiently)
- build a little homelab, document your work on github
- Try to get into cloud engineering

Times are changing. Swallow your pride and maybe accept 'not-so-senior'
roles, if you get offered any. Good luck!

Sebastian
