I have the same problem, with the difference that I've just purchased a Windows 2003 64 bit Intel based server. Tomcat is running fine as a regular app but I can't install it as a service, most frustrating. I have also tried to follow the instructions here: http://www.nabble.com/Mini- HOW-TO%3A-Tomcat-as-a-service-on-Windows-Server-2003-64-bit-edition- tf1735687.html#a4716292 as well, but I haven't got the knowledge to Recompile 'procrun' on my the server as per the instructions. Does anybody have an idea on how to get the tomcat service to work for me? Is there a tomcat5.exe available for intel 64 bit somwhere for download perhaps? Any help would be most appreciated!
