Apologies if I don't understand how a jndi datasource should work or if I've not provided enough explanation but what I want is for Tomcat to keep out of connection creation. Even if I have maxactive set to 1 I still get a stacktrace like this,
at org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.DriverConnectionFactory.createConnection(DriverConnectionFactory.java:38) at org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.PoolableConnectionFactory.makeObject(PoolableConnectionFactory.java:294) at org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.pool.impl.GenericObjectPool.borrowObject(GenericObjectPool.java:974) at org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.PoolingDataSource.getConnection(PoolingDataSource.java:96) at org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.BasicDataSource.getConnection(BasicDataSource.java:880) ... 16 more Everything works fine if I don't use JNDI and I really don't understand why these dbcp classes with Pool or Pooling in the name are getting involved. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/How-to-turn-off-JNDI-datasource-connection-pooling-tp21490681p21506964.html Sent from the Tomcat - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@tomcat.apache.org
