I have a filter somewhere in a webapp that has gotten broken through my own packaging process, likely due to a missing class.
But I can't figure out how to make tomcat actually tell me what the problem is. All that I get is the dreaded, nearly useless SEVERE: Error listenerStart on the console. I can't find a stacktrace anywhere. This bug says I should be getting (or I should be able to enable) a stacktrace, somewhere. https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=34110 What am I missing? How do I get tomcat to put this stack trace somewhere?
