A couple of updates. I've confirmed it doesn't only happen in Tomcat 6.0.24 and it doesn't only happen in Chrome. It seems to happen less often the longer the server is up. I though I had the problem more narrowed down than I do. I'll keep testing and see if I can provide some better information. Otherwise consider this thread closed unless anyone else has happened to see a similar problem.
