Here is what I have discovered: Jackson 1.9.9 works. Jackson 2.2 fails, but there are problems in the parsing of openejb-jar.xml that mask errors. I'll enter a bug for this but I don't know if it's openEJB, TomEE, or somewhere else...
#1: This works: In WEB-INF/openejb-jar.xml put this: and in pom.xml put #2: This seems to use the built-in provider rather than the Jackson one: In WEB-INF/openejb.jar, put this and in pom.xml put this. And, strangely, this fails in exactly the same way as #2 In other words, nobody detects that cxf.jaxrs.providers is being set to a bogus nonexistent class. -- View this message in context: http://openejb.979440.n4.nabble.com/openejb-jar-xml-not-being-parsed-tp4664660p4664710.html Sent from the OpenEJB User mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
