hehe jcs is a little bit slower but has more features (like supporting a remote server for caching etc). That said performances are good, or said otherwise if it is not fast enough for a cache a lot of other things should be dropped before ;)....and it is integrated with CDI out of the box which is really nice and makes code faster to write.
