TomEE works fine with MyFaces 2.2, just replace the 2.1 jar with it. One observation is that in my case when I changed from Mojarra 2.1 to MyFaces 2.1 I had to do some adjustments in my applications, and some more adjustments when I changed from MyFaces 2.1 to 2.2, so I would recommend you to test your whole application with MyFaces before deploying it in production.
