yes while used at runtime (so even in embedded tests)

why? cause bytecode is not valid

no idea if it is documented, has been fixed for javaee-api 7 artifact BTW

Good to know! Now I understand the trouble with embedded tests with the javax:javaee-api, I switched there to obenejb api, cause it is also used by the embedded tomee.
