(2 MarkD) I faced the same problems with TomEE-7.0.0-M1. Error "...NamingException: Cannot lookup '/openejb/DeployerBusinessRemote' " appeared in Intellij Idea log when you try to stop TomEE. It's consequence of error during startup "Server is not connected. Deploy is not available. ".
To solve "Server is not connected. Deploy is not available.
