I only get those errors when I run Tomcat as a Windows service. Starting Tomcat from a command prompt all works and the logs are clean. I spent over a day trying to fix the errors on the server (including enhancing), because I get no errors running the app in debug in Netbeans. The only difference is the service. I could be confused by now, but I do not think tomee 7 would work if I deployed it to a Tomcat download that installed as a Windows service. I think that was the first thing I tried on the server. For the time being I can start the Tomcat/TomEE startup.bat from a scheduled task.
