We're not entirely sure if the many changes we have done will still be compatible: Capabilities, privilege separation, paths, etc.. all of those are very Unix specific. Personally I would aim for the latest development tools from Microsoft as a target platform, that should actually ease the process a lot. (That is, do NOT target cygwin.
