Hi Reindl:

Many Thanks.
Since I am build and install from source and not familiar with rpm.
could you point me to more detailed instructions or explain a bit more.
Thanks Again.

what is difficukt to understand in the two lines below?
just add the path to the linker config and run ldconfig

[root@localhost:~]$ cat /etc/ld.so.conf.d/trafficserver-x86_64.conf
/usr/lib64/trafficserver

I am wondering how to pass
        export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=xxx
to traffic_server via traffic_cop, since I am using
        bin/trafficserver to
        start traffic server.

if I start by using bin/traffic_server, I can export
        LD_LIBRARY_PATH=xx
directly and it works, but I am using trafficserver script, I do not
        know how

you should fix that properly and not with env-vars

    [root@localhost:~]$ cat /etc/ld.so.conf.d/__trafficserver-x86_64.conf
    /usr/lib64/trafficserver

    [root@localhost:~]$ rpm -q --file
    /etc/ld.so.conf.d/__trafficserver-x86_64.conf
    trafficserver-5.2.0-2.fc20.__20150122.rh.x86_64
