I'm not sure if there's a way to store an object in RAM cache alone (unless, 
you are using a ramdisk to fake the disk).
As far as *caching* an object in a sort of non-persistent manner, one trick 
that comes to my mind is to use a dynamic cache key (e.g a query parameter 
which includes the restart time, at ATS restart).
