what about read your backends log and if that not helps provide more informations about your currecnt configuration?

Today I have put further load on ATS on the fly (redirected port 80
towards ATS box). The site running nginx caused the 502 error (in the
squid logs) I tried the workaround of disabling keep_alive for
sometime and restarting services which resolved the issue but now im
seeing the following in the error.logs:
