Hi Bill, I am in the process of testing VegaDNS. If all goes well, I plan on importing around 700 domains and using it full time.
What I like about it is the simplicity. Most of the other interfaces I have looked at are overkill for my use and the learning curve would be difficult for anyone that might add or edit domain records. In your Todo list, I noticed you plan on adding a search mechanism. Right off the bat, that is the only thing I could think to add at this point. Once I have had a chance to play with this a bit, there might be something else. Thank you for designing such a great interface to use. I also plan on putting your toaster setup in production in the near future.
