I currently have a primary and secondary BIND server that is authoritive for about 1500 zones.
I have moved all the clients that are using these servers for standard services to a new DJBDNS caching server. It's working wonderfully. I would like replace my BIND with TinyDNS. VegaDNS seems like a very good tool for managing the zones. It has many of the features that I am looking for. It's MySQL based, it's in active development, has multiple control levels. I am wonder what the best method is for importing these 1500 zones into VegaDNS. Is there a way to convert directly from the BIND zone files? Thanks, Josh
