Data file gets created, and the data.cdb is updated no-problem. But for some
reason the datafile doesn't have the authority entires in it (eg
.domain:IP:ns1.domain.com:TTL ).

So, in my log files I get...

@40000000425d84251f7448c4 9f3dab2b:0814:d04c - 0001 www.domain.com

Which apperently means....

ip:port:id - type name

   tinydns dropped a request because it did not have the authority to answer.

(Thanks to http://dqd.com/~mayoff/notes/djbdns/tinydns-log.html
).

If anyone has any ideas let me know, I've upgraded to v1.1.3 from 0.9.9 and that seems to be ok, no errors that I can see.

Here is an example domain from the data file.

#domain.com
+synack.us:1.1.1.1:3600
&ns2.domain.com::ns2.domain.com:3600
Zdomain.com:ns1.domain.com:hostmaster.domain.com::16384:2048:43200:2560:86400

let me know!  Thanks!
