Quick question on the SOA serial numbers. I noticed recently that the serial numbers reported by my two name servers are different. I know this isn't a huge issue because I'm positive the data is identical, but why is this? Or, more correctly, why is vegadns not specifically filling in the serial number field in the SOA record?
