If I had to guess, most people who implement a custom shopping system have some sort of unique need. I'll start working on building something from scratch. I'll be using wicket/spring/hibernate to build this.
If anyone has suggestions or ideas, I'd love to hear them. Especially when it comes to the entities involved and their relationships. Maybe I should start with the PetStore demo since I haven't looked at it recently. Are there any opinions on the quality of the petstore data design (besides the yucky JSF technologies used)?
