Component.PATH_SEPARATOR is hard coded to be :
so doing this:
Component c = form.get("PropertyType.SAGE.managedItems:panelXML");
or this
Component c = form.get("PropertyType.SAGE.managedItems" +
Component.PATH_SEPARATOR+ "panelXML");
shouldnt matter 1 bit.
