Congratulations, this looks like a nice addition so far. I would recommend checking out a wicket annotation project that has been around for a little while. It dynamically picks up Hibernate annotations *directly* from your model objects instead of annotating your pages. these annotations are much like the annotations you've created (not-null, max-length, etc).
