Howdy all, I've started using wicket-guice in one of my projects this week, but I've got a couple of problems I'm hoping that someone here can help me with:
1. I have a singleton binding that needs access to the context parameters (e.g. ((WebApplication) WebApplication.get()).getServletContext().getInitParameter(PREFERENCES_STORE_KEY); ). However, the WebApplication isn't bound/available until after GuiceWebApplicationFactory finishes creating the injector (and all of the singletons have been instantiated). Can anyone think of any workarounds for this problem? 2. I'm curious what the alternative web.xml configuration listed in GuiceWebApplicationFactory 's javadoc will do. Can anyone explain what it means for it to "dig the Injector out of the ServletContext as an attribute"? That's all for now. Thanks for any help you can offer! Best regards, Karl M.
