I have just released a new version of Wicket RAD -an open source suite of Wicket Components and utilities aimed at rapid application development that heavily leverages Wicket and Wicket Extensions.
Most notable in this release is the inclusion of a sample application and code, and improved javadocs. The full announcement is here: http://sites.google.com/site/wicketrad/news-1/wicket-rad-04-released Also, for anyone willing to contributing, here are a few concrete areas where I wouldn't mind getting some help: - Update the wicket-contrib-tinymce module to use the latest version of TinyMCE (current version is incompatible with Safari on Mac) - Help with "beautifying" the default CSS for the PropertyEditPanel and PropertyTable components - just make them prettier! (I'm no UI designer..) - Code review and improvement suggestions of existing code ("find the inconsistencies") - Thoughts and contributions on how to make the components even more flexible in terms of "skinability" of look-and-feel with css. A note on wicket-contrib-tinymce: this is a package tacken from the WicketStuff package that seemed to be unmaintained, after a short e-mail exchange with Iulian Costan, who wrote a lot of the initial code, I decided to maintain it within Wicket RAD, as it was not actively maintained elsewhere. (If this is the wrong venue for this announcement, apologies and let me know, but I thought it might be of general interest to the Wicket community).
