You can always code your page in such way that makes it easy to be tested, like
this:
public MyPage() {
setFoo(getApplication().getFoo());
}
protected MyPage(IFoo foo) {
setFoo(foo);
}

Yes I know that I can do it through Application but then it is very dificult
