Agreed. One minor disappointment for me was that there were no food or drinks at all (I remember there was plenty of food at the 2007 meetup!). I'd happily have paid for it too. Arriving directly from work without even having had dinner, my attention was distracted by an empty stomach. I ended up leaving the room for 20 minutes to order some fries at the hotel bar.
