Column which orders by display value

Unfortunately, a column seems only sortable by a single property :-(

We have a DataTable with some sortable columns. Unfortunately, they often don't match a simple property but are assembled using multiple properties. Is there a possibility to sort a DataTable using the effectively displayed values instead of a fixed property?
