OT: Relational database + Hibenate vs Content Repository (Jackrabbit)

Hallo, I am thinking about learning and using Jackrabbit instead of
relational database (+ Hibernate) in my new wicket application (which will
be build on Brix CMS).
Is it very wrong idea?
