Igor - I'm a Wicket newbie. When I get more experience I'll see if I can do something along the lines you suggest. For now I just wished to know if it would be possible / sensible.
Casper - Sorry I'm a Wicket newbie as well (but I do have experience with some other Web frameworks and will have a go sometime when I understand Wicket better).
Frido - Unfortunately, I don't think that is what I am looking for - I'm not looking for the rendered page, but rather what the bare source page / component HTML would look like.
