In the locale chooser (give it focus) up at the top (a DDC), start typing letters and it will choose the locale for you. If you're looking for something where you don't have to load the entire list. You can use AutoComplete: http://wicketstuff.org/wicket14/ajax/autocomplete That may be what you're looking for.
