ok, I need to check the form attribute value in the vaildate() method of panel. If thats the case then i guess i cannot get the updated model in the validate method.
So the workaround for me is to use getters of components (TextField, DropDownChoice etc) from webpage in the panel validate method. However as per you suggested I see blank value for #getConvertedInput() to these components.
