Hi, JQueryResourceReference.INSTANCE has been private even before 6.9.0. There is org.apache.wicket.resource.JQueryResourceReference#get() which is public.
DynamicJQueryResourceReference has no static members at all. You can use it with: new DynamicJQueryResourceReference(). To be able to use custom versions of jQuery 1.x and 2.x you need to extend DynamicJQueryResourceReference and override #getVersion1() and #getVersion2(). In this case such static field/method will only confuse you.
