Hi, You can use #updateAjaxAttributes() ( https://github.com/apache/wicket/blob/fa83afe98a91d384737e0cc05395348242cdd8e8/wicket-extensions/src/main/java/org/apache/wicket/extensions/ajax/markup/html/AjaxEditableLabel.java#L189) to set POST as a request method.
