I found the bug! Thanks to everyone who gave me input on where I could look for the error.
The cause was that I have my own session implementation which overrides detach(). Unfortunately, I forgot to call super.detach() there, so the page lock was never released. In the old Wicket version the workflow must have been different, so the issue didn’t show up before. Am Do., 20.
