Versioning and support policy

Hi,

Since I need to update some applications from an old client of mine, I 
was looking for information about which versions of the WS subprojects 
are still supported. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the information 
on neither the web page nor the Git repos.

My client has a baseline of Java 8, so I am mostly interested in the 
supported versions of WSS4J: will WSS4J 2.x still receive security 
updates and for how long? As far as I can tell XMLSec 2.x on which WSS4J 
2.x depends, is still supported.

I profit from the occasion to ask about a question I had for almost a 
decade: should Woden 1.0M10 be considered as a production-ready version 
or a pre-release?
