Hi, you will probably find a satisfying solution to this problem by using the watchlist feature that will be provided in the new version of XWiki (1.2M2) planned to be released this week.
It will allow you to subscribe to the pages you wish on your wiki & get notifications by mail and / or RSS when those pages are modified...
