Hi! I'm afraid It is out of my scope to see if this IE release can have something to do with this particular link, sorry. But the information will remain here and will be helpful for anybody else suffering something similar! We have move all (or advised to do so) our IE installations to 7.0.5730.11 and things are doing better now (no XWiki issues with previous release, but a number of them with other sites/applications). Hope you manage to solve your network issue.
