Hi Graeme, May I ask you what version of XWiki Workspaces your Uni is using ? The bug you reported looks very similar to a combination of http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWS-33 & http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWS-41 that have now been fixed... I tried to reproduce your issue locally on a XWiki Workspaces 1.0 instance (not a RC nor a Milestone, the final 1.0 release) but couldn't. 1. I created a private space and a dummy user 2. I invited the user to the space as an author 3. The user can see the space, create new pages, edit blog articles... 4. I made him a Reader, he could only view pages and add comments... 5. Basically O've got stuff working fine so far... It would be great if you could undertake those 2 steps (in that order) : 1. Download & Install the latest release of XWiki Workspaces and try to reproduce your issue 1. http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Download#HXWikiWorkspaces 2. http://www.xwiki.com/xwiki/bin/view/Blog/GettingStartedWithXWikiWorkspac es 2.
