I can't find a catalina.out ... i've replaced the 
${webapps}/WEb-INF/classes/log4j.properties with the one described  in 
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Logging

and I have a xwiki.log in /var/lib/tomcat5.5/temp in which nothing's 
written when I try to login ...
